You're So Vain....I Bet You Think This Post Is About You

Well, its not about you, its actually a bunch of pictures of Brian and I. We went to Florida of a vacation and at our resort there was a photographer so we did a little photo shoot.
**Warning** If you can't handle seeing a lot of pictures of Beautiful people, then stop reading now.

Orlando, Florida February 11th-18th. We left Andrew home with Grandma Bryant, and just enjoyed being "just us" for a little bit. (And I even resisted calling to check on my boy every hour on the hour! I only called once or twice a day.) Oh and I only cried every time I saw a baby, or watched the Shamu and baby Shamu show at Sea World, but that's another story for a later day. We got to stay at this BEAUTIFUL Resort that I won at a work party from Dr.Wise (THANKS!!) I will blog and post pictures later of what we did all week. :)

Cancun, better late than never!

So our trip to Cancun, Mexico back in May was the bomb-digity! We did lots of fun things such as:

• Flying Standby


• Sleeping overnight in the L.A. Airport (twice!)


• Flying 1st Class


• Leaving the continental United States for the 1st time (for both of us)


• Having to wear the same clothes 3 days in a row because our luggage went to Atlanta instead of Mexico


• Laying on the Beach


• Being waited on hand and foot


• getting lost downtown Cancun (neither of us speak spanish btw)


• having very nice Mexicans take pitty on us dumb non-spanish speaking Americans and helping us find where we wanted to go.


• Throwing up in the Ocean (that was just me, thanks again morning sickness)


• Snorkeling
• Visiting Mayan Ruins


• paying $3 for a can of Mountain Dew (Brian swears it was worth it)


• Swimming


• Making new friends


• Feeling like newly weds again


• Taking the Bus (we thought we were going to die! Drivers are crazy there!)


• Sun Burns


• Sleeping in


• Painting Ceramic Crafts


• Collecting Sea Shells


• Walking on the Beach hand in hand


• Shopping at the Flea Market


• Seeing Iguanas EVERYWHERE!


• Watching Sunrises and Sunsets on the balcony


• Drawing in the White Sand


• Making AMAZING Memories with my Best Friend :)

Brian and I had a WONDERFUL VACATION in Cancun Mexico last week. I will blog and post pictures soon!

Sick Sick Sick

*DISCLAIMER* If you currently have, or previously have had a tumor I apologize in advance!

Have you ever seen the show, "I didn't know I was Pregnant"? Well I have, and I honestly believed these women. that they had no idea until one night they get up to go to the bathroom and *POP* out comes the baby in the toilet... I am here to say they are BIG FAT LIARS!! There is no way on God's Green Earth that they really don't know they are growing a person inside them. Being pregnant is like having a Tumor....

1. There is a "Growth" that is sucking all of your energy
2. You Vomit ALL OF THE TIME (p.s. "morning sickness" is a lie, it is All Freaking Day Sickness!)
3. Some of your hair falls out
4. You are so tired and weak that all you want to do is sleep
5. Headaches
6. Nausea
7. Bloating
8. Emotions are out of control

Pretty much I am shocked that more Women (or unsuspecting husbands) don't die from this... Because that is how I have felt for the last 10 weeks. The good news is, my Doctor told me that a lot of women start to feel better after you are 12 weeks along. So that is what I am holding onto! Only 2 more weeks of feeling like junk all of the time, then Wah-La! I will get that pregnancy "glow" everyone talks about! It will be a nice change from glowing green all of the time! lol~ Oh and we go to Cancun 2 weeks from tomorrow! We are very excited, and Brian is hoping that I am not sick while we are there, because that would definitely put a damper on our fun in the sun!!

53 Days and Counting!!!

She won the grand prize in our office...lets just call it "raffle". The Grand Prize was a week in one of Dr.Wise's condos anywhere she wanted to go in the world....well many a moon past and Liz decided that she couldn't go on the trip. She being the wonderful person that she is, asked me if I would want it. My answer was something along the lines of "Are you freaking kidding me?! Of COURSE I WANT IT!!!" So a trip to Sushi later, the deal was done.

Now all I had to decide was where to go? Well somewhere sunny and with a beach instantly came to mind. But that describes a lot of places in the world ya know? So with some discussion with Dr. Wise I decided that CANCUN, MEXICO sounded pretty awesome.



So after finding a week that we could trade for, and seeing the pictures of the beach/pool area I was sold! I went home to ok it with the Hubby. Brian being the difficult person he is said, "Whatever you want babe." The next morning I practically skipped to work. When Dr.Wise got there we got on the computer to do the paperwork, and DUM DUM DUM....the week that was available the day before was now gone. :(

We then looked at other places in Mexico, but Alas I had my heart set on Cancun...2 days later we checked for a condo in Cancun again and, Hip, Hip, Hooray, there was another one available. It is a little smaller room, but all Brian and I need is a bed, a potty, a shower, and Air Conditioning. This room has ALL 4!!!

I am so excited, neither Brian nor I have ever been out of the Continental USA. We already applied for our Passports and should have them in 3-4 weeks. We also got an awesome deal on our flights because my Brother George works for Delta Airlines. For our wedding present George and Cami told us we could get cheap flights and 2 & 1/2 years later we are using it!! While we are in Cancun we are going to go on a tour in Chichen Itza and it looks amazing!

Anyway I can't wait to go and I will post lots of pictures! So I want to give a BIG SHOUT OUT to LIZ for letting us go on her vacation and George & Cami for hooking us up with the flights to get us there!! Thanks so much & I LOVE YOU GUYS!!! We will be leaving Saturday May 22nd and coming back on the 29th. Let the countdown begin, 53 DAYS AND COUNTING!!!
